Utilizing a few different child pose variations we are able to help lengthen and release tension within the latissimus dorsi, rotator cuff, and deltoid muscles!
By focusing on stretching the muscles around that shoulder joint we can help alleviate unnecessary shoulder, neck, and head pains that can occur from overly worked muscles that unknowing pull our joints into uncomfortable positions.
As you perform these stretches, breathe deeply through the movement. Allow your breath to reach past your tension as your body relaxes into the position.
