Scramble of the Gods!

Looking for a breakfast that will nourish and put a smile on the family's face? Look no further, this scramble is for you! Both hearty and nutrient filled - this dish will keep you filled and get you ready for the day!

Ingredients:



  • Eggs: 4 - 5 eggs

  • Cream: 1 - 2 TBSP

  • Bell Pepper: 1 whole

  • Onion: 1 whole

  • Garlic: 1 TBSP

  • Green Onion: 1 whole

  • Bacon: 4 - 5 slices

  • Sausage: 4 - 5 links

  • Salt & Pepper: to taste




Steps:


  • Dice Bell Pepper, Onion, and Green Onion. Once fully diced, place off to the side.

  • Slice Bacon and Sausage, once sliced, place off to the side.


  • Place a pan on the stovetop and turn heat to medium high.


  • Add bacon and sausage to the pan and begin to brown.


  • Once bacon and sausage are half way cooked, toss in diced onions and peppers. Begin to saute with bacon and sausage, adding additional bacon grease if necessary for sweating.


  • As veggies and meat cook; combine eggs, cream, and garlic into a bowl and whisk together. Make sure to periodically move veggies and meat around to ensure even cooking.


  • As sausage browns begin to break it apart in a pan, continue to mix veggies and meat together until fully cooked (onion should be translucent and pepper should break apart easily).


  • Add egg into pan and begin to combine with rest of ingredients, once egg has cooked add pepper and salt to taste.


  • Place scramble onto a plate, serve, and enjoy!
