Pizza Night Anyone!
Updated: Apr 13, 2022
What quicker way to fill a household full of smiles and full bellies then a homemade pizza night!!
I don't know about you but a good pizza can always seem to make it into the weekly menu for the family. And when that pizza is homemade, sprinkled with my favorite toppings, and consisting of sourdough goodness...I just have to say yes!
The other beautiful thing about this pizza (though there are so many wonderful things) is that it's easy to make and even easier to consume - though the largeness of the pie will have you at it for a while! Making this an amazing dinner idea for guests, wild sleepovers, or just the excuse to have left over pizza for lunch!
Either way, this recipe gives you the foundation to create a true masterpiece of deliciousness!
Ingredients:
1 cup sourdough starter, unfed/discard
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons to 3/4 cup water, lukewarm
2 1/2 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon instant yeast or active dry yeast

Tip: if looking to add a little protein to this meal, our family loves adding bacon, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, and sometimes even chicken! I say the more the merrier!
